Warli Art

Warli painting is a style of tribal art  in India. The simple pictorial language of Warli painting is matched by a rudimentary technique. The Warli only paint with a white pigment made from a mixture of rice paste and water, with gum as a binder on dark red-black background. A bamboo stick is chewed at the end to give it the texture of a paintbrush.

But, I tried it with my favorite black gel pen and marker 🙂

Some of my festive Rangolis..

Rangoli is one of the things I like on festive seasons (it allows me to show my Art skills 😀 ). On Diwali or any other pooja day, a precise corner in my home is always brightened up by Rangoli with riotous colors. With some traditional note I am sharing some of them…( and one with Autumn leaves 😛 )

Old work using Oil-pastels..

Working with crayons and oil-pastels is always fun for me. They are so easy to blend in the colurs. Whenever I get time I grab the box of crayons n pastels (if I am not sketching with pen…dats my favourite 🙂  ) n start blending the colors ! n the result is here in less time! Here’s the collage of my old work.

Zendoodle Ganesha

After long time …posting couple of zendoodle ganeshas 🙂

As I said it before, while drawing the pattern you may find yourself relaxing, almost in a Zen-like state. It clears the mind, just letting the pen go where it wants to go. Doodling in this way is a great stress-reliever!

Radha Krishna :)

Posting after long time.:)

On one chilly morning in tender warmth of sun I was in my balcony with a cup of coffee + writing pad+my black gel pen…an awesome atmosphere to thinking about love …eternal n devotional. Had this sketch of Radha Krishna…the tale of eternal magical love and devotion.  🙂

My first try for “Coffee Painting”

SAM_2248I tried coffee painting…and it just fascinated me..!! Coffee is such a wonderful medium to work with which gives extraordinary “antique” effect to paintings…Just we need Coffee powder, water ,brush and your power of “imagination” 🙂

This one is an abstract of a lady painted with coffee….

Intimate!

Abstract conveying intimate couple love!

Zendoodles!!!

Haven’t you sometimes been quite surprised at seeing the results of your mindless marks?

There are many reasons to try the process of creating Zentangles. They are so relaxing – just put on some gentle music or perhaps an absorbing radio interview and simply let your hand doodle away. Your very first one may not be so good but I wager that your second one will thrill you! You can create them as small or as large as you want, They have been seen decorating all kinds of objects from shoe to walls.

When you are stressed, tired or bored, let your mind roam free while you engage in the relaxing art of Zendoodle.

Abstracts depicting Woman’s Beauty!

It is amazing that “Abstract Art” give us the way to present natural beauty in its abstract form…
Here I have tried the two woman abstracts that are symbolized and I think they are conveying woman beauty…

Pencil Scraps!!

Last weekend I was doodling with my black n red felt pen ( which I used to draw 4-5 sketches) and just wondered about my poor pencil which was lying on the table…Yes I was looking at her after long time…And then draw some scraps with her in my free time……

I am posting them here…
